YOUR LEGAL TIMELINE

1️⃣ Six to five months before the ceremony, we will review your vital records to ensure that the names, dates, and passport information are consistent and that all required apostilles are in place. According to Italian administrative practice, documents must be issued within six months of the wedding date.2️⃣ Five to four months before the wedding, we will prepare the sworn translations and complete the necessary certification procedures through the Florence Court. To make sure that documents validity is within six months, allow for city hall processing and that you can select the wedding date you prefer, documents need to be submitted to the selected city hall around 3 months before the wedding.3️⃣ After document submission, City Hall will contacts you to select the date of the formal declaration of intent to marry. On that date, we will accompany you to the local city hall to assist you during the formal declaration of intent to marry. After this procedure, you will be able to select the wedding day.4️⃣ On your wedding day, we will provide interpreting support during the ceremony, including the legal vows and official declarations required for your marriage to be valid under Italian law.5️⃣ After the wedding, we prepare the certified English translation of your Italian marriage certificate.

Please note: the wedding season in Tuscany is very busy between May and September. For this reason you need to prepare the documentation, book city halls and preferred venues well in advance.
